The Range Pistol Club was founded in 1994 as the California’s premiere indoor firearms range, and full service retail showroom.
The founder’s premise was that leisure shooters, sportsman, and law enforcement and security professionals, deserved an environment where they could practice their trade, in a place where shooting is not discouraged, but encouraged.
The Range Pistol Club envisioned a facility where the public could gather to experience the thrill and excitement of sending a round down range for the first time, and where a father and son, or a mother and daughter, could share a memory of experiencing a moment they would never forget.
The Range Pistol Club also saw a need for local, state and federal law enforcement agencies in the area, to have a facility where they could not only have a place to qualify and hone their marksmanship, but also have first rate classroom facilities where instructors could relay their experience and knowledge to their co-workers.
With those goals, The Range Pistol Club has become a reality. A reality that has far exceeded its own expectations and a reality that will continue to expand.
Mission & Vision:
The Range Pistol Club has a clear and simple mission and vision.
The Range Pistol Club hopes to educate the general public, the avid sportsman, and the municipal law enforcement population, on the necessary rights and responsibilities that accompany firearm ownership.
Revitalization:
The Range Pistol Club is a progressive institution that has consistently worked to address firearm ownership responsibilities, rights, and needs within the context of changes taking place in the wider world.
It was the first facility in California’s Central Valley, to recognize and act upon the need for a highly educated and trained public, sportsman, and law enforcement and security personnel, who could apply their knowledge in real-world settings.
The Range Pistol Club’s personnel and instructors have continued to carefully assess the social, economic, and educational contest for training and education in the proper understanding of the firearm environment and have been instrumental in redefining programs, instituting new ones, and helping all that are involved in the firearm community to meet the demands of changing times. Excellence for such an facility and institution is by definition a journey, rather than a final destination.
