The Range hosts monthly matches for the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) on the second Friday night of each month. IDPA participants use practical handgun equipment in simulated scenarios. Matches include either self-defense scenarios or standard exercises. The self-defense scenarios simulate “real-world” confrontations and typically require shots from three to 20 yards from different firing points. Standard exercises don’t simulate potential threat situations, but instead test specific shooting and gun handling skills.
